Rocky is a 2010 dark bay gelding. He has his dam’s elegant conformation and his sire’s endearing personality and lovely head. Rocky would move into our house if he could and never puts a foot wrong. He will be a best friend or at least the perfect family pony. Rocky was shown for the first time in 2012 and put in a good performance in a competitive class. Rocky was started under saddle on February 2013 and, unsurprisingly, is easy to work with and tries hard to please. Rocky was sold to Boxberg Morgans in Germany.

Bellini is a 2009 palomino gelding. He is a carbon copy of his sire Ancan Kodachrome and his full brother Expat’s Golden Canon. He is maturing into a refined and elegant horse with paces that will impress even dressage judges. He has natural athletic ability and works very well under saddle both on the trails and in the ring. Bellini picks and chooses his friends whether horses or people carefully. Once he is your friend, he tries very hard to be your best friend. Anne has a hard time taking pictures of anybody else other than Bellini if he is in the paddock: he simply must put himself in front of the camera.

Bellini took part in the First Morgan Horse Show in 2012 and was in the top 3 in every class he entered. He worked very well with Suzie in particular in the dressage class.

Bellini was also part of the Expat Morgan team at Equirando 2012 (the largest European trail riders' meet). He enjoyed the cheers of the crowd and was totally unflustered by the 800 horse crowd in the parade. Bellini has all it takes to be a favorite family horse as well as a competitive mount. He has a great jump, 3 good paces and loves to work both in the school and on the trails. Bellini has joined his half sister Superstar with Jessica Michault's family. He has a five star forever home.

Gala is a perfectly put together little colt. We had high hopes for this cross of top dressage breeding with our handsome Sandy. We are not disappointed. Gala is every little bit the dressage horse in a pony size. Like his dam he has extraordinary movement and his has taken his sire's easy disposition and gorgeous head. We can't wait to see Gala making a name for himself as a competition pony. We wish Lyn Price every success with Gala on the UK combined driving circuit.

COLOR ME GREY ASM Z

Color is a 2011 grey mare by Cicero Z (Olympic show jumping stallion) out of a traditional Herman bred mare. She has plenty of size and a huge jump. She loves to learn new things and will without a doubt make a name for herself on the show jumping circuit. Color has joined Gemma's string of young jumpers in county Sligo.

PORTIA

Portia is a very well bred (line bred to Pilatus) Belgian warmblood mare. She has great ability in both dressage and show jumping. She became a full time broodmare as her health no longer made her suitable as a riding horse. She gave us a huge warmblood colt by Pilote de Hus in 2012. Portia was sold in foal to Expat's Charlie's Company in 2013.

Braize has gone to Sweden to start a career as a showjumping pony.

Super Star is everything we hoped for and then some. She got her golden looks from her sire, Ancan Kodachrome and her dam’s huge movement. Her conformation makes her a natural athlete: short back, curving neck, powerful hocks with a gorgeous little head to top it all off.

She is the most curious and brave baby we have seen. With her attitude and spark, she simply had to be called Super Star. She loves nothing better than to strut around the paddock with her tail flagging. You can almost hear her call out “Look at me, here I come”.

Superstar was broken to saddle in 2012 and shown for the first time in 2012. She loves the show ring and will be one to watch in the coming years. Teamed up with Morgan, she participated in Equirando 2012 (Europe's largest Trail riders' meet) and loved every minute of it. She walked like she owned the place in the parade (among 800 horses) and left us all standing in her dust during the race on the Allee du Roi.

Superstar's new family lives near Paris. She lives with another Morgan mare as well as a pony. She is Cecelia's horseball mount. Cecelia saw Superstar as a foal when her mother came us to us a few years ago looking to purchase a Morgan for herself. They didn't go home with an Expat baby in 2009 but they have our Superstar now!

Gracie is a lovely 2009 brown mare. Her dam's stable name is Cricket and as a baby she spent much of her time jumping around in the paddock, so Grasshopper was an obvious choice when the time came to name her. Like her dam, she is level headed and powerfully built. She is very people friendly and will do anything for treats. Gracie should mature in a well conformed and athletic mare that will be suitable for many disciplines. Her eagerness to please and to learn new things will make her a great family Morgan.

He came to buy a warmblood broodmare and left with little Glow. He simply fell in love....another Morgan convert.

EXPAT'S DON'T PANIC

2012 bay colt

Expat’s Don’t Panic is our first baby by Jeep out of a warmblood mare. He is exactly was we were hoping for: handsome and of sweet disposition like his sire and with all the athletic ability and size of his dam.

He was named Don’t Panic by our trainees Pippa, Gillian and our friend Eva who were all very worried at the idea that he would be born while Scott and Anne were on vacation. His new owner, Valery, fell in love with him when he was just a few weeks old. Panic will be a much loved family horse in Normandy!

EXPAT'S TOP MODEL
(Ancan Kodachrome x Kalila)
2009 chestnut splash filly

Tops is a part Morgan 2009 filly. She is bright chestnut with lots of chrome including a large white spot under her belly.

Tops was born to be admired and makes sure everyone knows it. She is an expert at batting her long eyelashes. She has her sire's elevated paces and long graceful neck. From her dam she got the spectacular extension and beauty that will guarantee the judges attention in the dressage ring. She has a lot of personality and is all Morgan in her level headedness. We feel that this cross brings to the European competitor the best of both worlds: athletic ability and to die for temperament and work ethic.

Tops was broken to saddle in 2012 and has show all the sports pony ability we were hoping to see. A genuine teenager's competitive pony. She was sold in October 2012 to Aurélia. They do rides and Trail.

EXPAT'S ELECTRA
(Ancan Kodachrome X Lesley)
2009 chestnut mare

Electra is a 2009 part Morgan chestnut mare. She was bred to be an elegant and sane sports horse and she shows every promise of being just that.

She looks very much like a smaller version of her dam. Her hind quarters are powerful and will not doubt destine her for the show jumping arena.

She has an easy disposition but is very selective in her affections. With both horses and people, she is affectionate if she has decided that you are a friend and very stand offish otherwise.

Electra was broken to saddle in 2012 and shows much promise as an eventing or jumping pony. Electra was sold in August 2012 and her new owners report that she is rapidly progressing under saddle, has a huge jump and will most likely be competed internationally.

We have used Koda for breed promotion events and he is always a big hit with the spectators. Koda was broken to saddle in the summer of 2009 and is showing great promise in the show jumping and eventing sphere. Koda competes regularly in show jumping competitions and is a great trail ride.

Koda was sold to Adeline in September 2012. It was love at first sight between the two of them and we could not be more pleased about this 5 star home. Koda will live at the Haras de la Cense near Paris and we have no doubt that he will be a great ambassador for the breed.

Cassou is a 2008 buckskin filly. She was the first filly we bred. She is bred to be a sports horse with style. Cassou is the picture of confidence. As a weanling she participated in shows to promote the Morgan bred in Belgium and already enjoyed being walked on the trails. We showed Cassou for the first time at the German Morgan Horse Association anniversary show in July 2009 and she won the national yearling filly title.

The best way to describe Cassou's personality is to say "No Nonsense". We have yet to find a thing Cassou doesn't understand first time around. She is incredibly curious and brave.

Cassou was sold to Julie Leveque in France last year. We are happy to say that she has grown into a beautiful mare and that both Julie and Cassou live with us on the farm. Cassou is a serious competitor in the hunter division as well as in show jumping. She brought home many ribbons in 2011 including the under 5 mare title and the in hand trail title at the DMHA show in Holland and the pleasure hunter title at the DMHA show in Germany. She is very well proportioned and has the makings of a stunning mare. Her conformation and movement will without a doubt be noted in the showring regardless of division. As a foal she would try to chase adult horses from their food bucket and never realized that the only reason her intimidation tactics worked was that her mother was backing her up. As far as she knows, and wants to know, she’s in charge. For all her bossiness with horses, she has given us no trouble to train. He spent a couple years with us eating a lot of grass and doing very little work. We felt he deserved a break from his regimented competition pony lifestyle. Gigi now lives with a family, a tiny pony and a donkey in Normandy. He is teaching 2 little girls who adore him to ride.

Under saddle, she was a real powerhouse and not for the faint hearted.

Leslie had her first foal in 2009: a filly by Ancan Kodachrome. She is the spitting image of her dam. In 2011, Lesley gave us a charming buckskin colt, Expat’s Bright Eyes by Expat’s Regimental Colors. In 2012 Lesley had a big bay colt by Expat's Commodore JPJones, Expat's Don't Panic. We lost Lesley to severe colic on May 28, 2014. She was 21 years young and much loved. Her 2014 filly Lightning Storm is left orphaned. We are hopeful that Angelina Jolie will adopt her as a sister to her 2014 colt Oscar Performance.

Sea Star came to us in 2006 in foal to HVK Navigator. She is a chestnut mare with great conformation and plenty of movement. She is by Ultimate Creation and brings wonderful Trophy blood to our program. Sea Star successfully competed in park and pleasure classes at both World Championships and Grand Nationals. She has been trained to ride and drive. She is the easiest mare you could imagine to own and handle. Sea Star is the perfect broodmare: she settles and foals easily and produces amazing foals. She has given us Expat's Commodore JP Jones by HVK Navigator, Expat's Patriot and Expat's Super Star, both by Ancan Kodachrome, and Expat's Miz Showbiz by Expat's Show Off. All four of them have great conformation and movement to match their look-at-me attitude and spark. She was a true lady and will be very much missed.

Show Off is a 2008 bay stallion. He was sired by the multi-world champion Hillock Showson and like his sire is an exceptional horse. Good looks, impeccable conformation and amazing movement were the least we expected out of this cross. We were thrilled to discover that Show Off also offers an incredible personality. He is the most gentle, smart and affectionate horse you could imagine.

We took Show Off to a number of promotional events in the summer of 2008. At his first show, the German Morgan Horse Association 2009 show, he won the yearling stallion class.

Show Off was shown in hand and under saddle in 2011. He was always in the ribbons. In 2012 Show Off won both the stallion and the In Hand Grand Champion titles at the First Morgan Horse Show in France. Scott and him make a dashing pair and look so good in blue!

Show Off’s first foal, Expat’s Fireworks, was born in 2012 and we couldn’t be happier with him: movement, looks and personality. Watch out for him in the show ring.

We lost Show Off in 2013, much too soon. He was a star and had a huge personality. A very special stallion who made us proud, made us laugh and always surprised us. We miss him very much and take some comfort in watching his son Fireworks growing up to look very much like his father's son.

Pat was a 2008 gelding. He was bright chestnut with lots of chrome and a blue eye. Like his sire Ancan Kodachrome he carried the splash gene. Pat had a powerful round compact frame and elevated paces. Pat was true to his show horse breeding. From the moment he was born, he exuded confidence and presence. In the yearling herd he was without a doubt the man in charge and seemed to find it perfectly natural.

Pat was broken to saddle in 2011, had a successful 2011 show season and taught several young or beginner riders how much fun a Morgan is. We lost Pat in 2012 following an accident. He was a favorite with all our riders and will be much missed.

Soul was a 2010 buckskin colt. He was picture perfect with a temperament to match. We can only hope that the Neon – Reggie cross will produce another baby just like him. We lost him to colic much too soon in 2011 and think of him often.
