We bought Gem in 2005. She is bay with classic Morgan conformation. She has a very expressive head. She is a very easy to handle and confident mare. She passes those traits to her foals. Gem is trained both under saddle and in harness but is no longer in work. She had a brief but successful show career in the US including in breeding classes. Gem has produced wonderful foals, including our stallion Expat's Regimental Colors, Expat’s Cassandra, Expat’s Cassiopeia, Expat’s Stellar Seas and Expat’s Fireworks that have true Morgan versatility, confidence, looks and disposition. She is a gem of a broodmare.

Angie is a stunning very dark bay 2004 mare. She is proof that good genes don’t lie. Her sire, multi-titled Ultras Special Agent, needs no introduction and neither does her maternal grand sire, Tedwin Topic. She has a huge flowing trot and is not afraid to use it. We use to joke that Angie was too beautiful to be smart. Overnight, she stopped being our resident airhead and turned into a responsible mother. Having her first foal, Expat’s Show Off, made her not only beautiful but also smart!

We have taken Angie to a number of promotional events and she loves to be in front of the crowds. The more they clap, the more she calls out and shows off. Angie was broken to saddle in 2010 and is a pleasant ride both in the school and on the trails. She does not get much opportunity to work under saddle as she has given us several lovely foals. We took the opportunity of the First Morgan Horse Show in 2012 to show Angie. She won the senior mare class and clearly enjoyed the experience.

Angie has given us lovely foals including our stallions Expat's Show Off and Expat's Sandstorm. Angie is in foal to Expat's Charlie's Company and we cross our fingers for a black filly!

We bought Neon in 2006 to add some spark to our breeding program. She was bred to be a park mare with her high paces, long neck and showy attitude. She has the sweetest face and her eyes seem almost human. She is bright chestnut and with a lot of chrome.

Neon is first and foremost Scott's mare. She adores him and would do anything for him. He used to ride her on the trails and hop on bareback to fetch other horses from the back pastures.

Neon is no longer in work and is busy being a full time mum. She has given us some of our favorite babies: Expat’s Light Brigade, Expat’s Soldier of Light and Expat’s Muzzle Flash.

Anne imported Tosca from Michigan in 2005. She will forever be special to us as she arrived on our farm on the day we first met. She got her stable name as soon as we saw her have a true prima donna style tantrum in the barn, complete with kicks, stomps and rolls, to get our attention.

Tosca is bay with very unusual white markings on her face. She has classic hunter type. Tosca comes from a distinguished line of champions including her half-brother, world champion Key Biscayne. Tosca is the alpha mare in our herd and has been ever since she came to us as a yearling.

We broke Tosca to saddle in 2007. She is a delight to ride and her confident personality makes her great fun on the trails. Tosca gave us Expat's I am a Diva, a filly foal out of Expat's Regimental Colors in 2009. Diva was the alpha filly among our 2009 foals, like mother like daughter. In 2011, Tosca gave us Expat’s Siren Song by Expat’s Commodore JPJones. We couldn’t be happier with Tosca both as a producer and as a sports horse. Anne is much looking forward to taking Tosca in the show ring in 2013.

Bailey is a 2000 brown mare. She was successfully shown in hand as a youngster. Out of a Tedwin Topic daughter, we did not hesitate when the opportunity arose to purchase her. Bailey is powerfully built with a classically beautiful head. She has plenty of movement and is very feminine. She has given us 2 dark and handsome colts: Expat's Lead from the Front in 2007 and Expat's Great Expectation in 2009, as well as a palomino filly, Expat’s Over the Moon, in 2010.

Bailey is a reliable trail ride but gets back in her show horse persona at the first request. She is a great fan of massages and will bang on her stable door if you don't give her the attention she thinks she deserves.

Bailey's personality and her gentleness make her a favorite around the barn. Bailey has successfully competed in show jumping and was a proud member of the Expat Morgan team at Equirando 2012 (Europe's largest Trail riders' meet).

Bailey is on loan to breeder Morgane Varin in France for the 2014 season. Morgane purchased Bailey 2014 foal by Expat's Charlie's Company in utero.

Tiki is a 2002 very dark bay mare. She has extremely animated and elevated paces as well wonderfully laid back shoulders. Tiki is all show horse in her breeding. While her ability as a show horse is clear we have found that she is happier is a less stressful environment. She has found her place in the herd and has become very affectionate. Tiki’s foals: Expat’s Charlie’s Company (2009), Expat’s Fantastic Flight (2010) and Expat’s Mystical Glow (2012) are very elegant, athletic and full of spark.

We bought Birdie in Texas in 2006. She is a bay, show type Morgan. She is trained to ride English and western as well to drive alone or in a pair. Birdie successfully competed in hand, under saddle and in harness including at the Grand Nationals. More recently, she competed at the First French Morgan Horse Show (2012) where paired up with Gwen she won the won Junior Rider Ridden Champion title. She is equally fun to ride out on the trails as to compete. She is personality of contrasts: in the herd she is very bossy and in charge, but around people you could not ask for a more gentle and kind mare. Birdie has a classically beautiful head, the great conformation that you would expect from her breeding and of course lovely animated paces. Birdie's foals, Expat's Early Bird (2009) and Expat's Regimental Glory (2010) show much promise as a sports ponies.

Birdie's 2013 colt foal, Expat's Sand Storm was purchased by breeder Katja Kurner in Germany. He is stunning and has without a doubt stallion potential. Birdie went on loan to Katja for the 2013 season and will remain with her until September 2014.

Libby is a 2009 buckskin filly. Libby was eagerly awaited and will be always be special to us. Anne spent the better part of 10 nights in the stables with Neon, waiting for what we feared could be a difficult foaling. Neon had injured herself towards the end of her pregnancy and was very weak after Libby was born. As a result, mama and baby lived on our back patio for TLC for most of the summer 2009. Libby more than once ventured in our dining room through the French doors. She is a very pretty and feminine mare with a disposition to die for. She looks and moves very much like her dam but without a doubt has gotten Reggie’s “Don’t worry be happy” attitude. We will be keeping Libby for our breeding program and very much regret that an injury keeps her out of the show ring.

Libby had her first foal, Expat's Guardian of Seas, in 2013 and motherhood suits her. She is in foal to Expat's Commodore JP Jones again for 2014.

Siren is a 2011 bay mare. She is a high energy ballerina. She got the best of her parents and has talent to spare. Siren has an incredible work ethic and is a joy to train. She competed both in France and in the UK in 2012. She won both In Hand and Trail classes and judges were very impressed with her. Julie is doing a great job training her and we see many more blue ribbons in her future. We are very proud of this little girl.

It is the third time we have made the Reggie - Neon cross and Chem, like her siblings, is a baby we are proud to have bred. She has her dam's striking color and her sire's great conformation. She is the smartest foal we have ever seen and appears to have been born wise. She got up on first try, started nursing almost immediately and, unlike most babies, thinks before she acts. If her first days are any indication, she will be a treat to train and is destined to be a great sports pony.

NON MORGAN AND PART MORGAN MARES

ZELDA ASM Z

Zelda is a 2010 mare by Zambesi (champion show jumping stallion by Heartbreaker) out of a gorgeous KWPN. She is striking looking with her four big socks and white face. Anne fell in love with her movement and Scott fell in love with her color and markings. Her personality wins everyone over. We look forward to working with her and in a few years to breeding her.

ALTEA DE MOSNET

Altea is a 2010 bay mare with champion dressage bloodlines. She is very feminine and has great movement. We put Altea under saddle in summer 2013 and she is progressing nicely in her work. She will a lovely lady's competition ride and will no doubt be valuable in the breeding shed.

DESTINY

Destiny is a gorgeous and talented warmblood mare. She is a real clown and loves to pretend that she is fierce. Scott is her very favourite person in the whole world. She gave us a lovely filly by Cosinhus in 2012. Living with Morgans has much improved her impulsive nature. She is still a princess but now a very well-mannered one. We plan on breeding Destiny to Expat's Regimental Colors for a 2015 baby destined to be a pony eventer.

KALILA
1996 Westphalen mare

Lily is a 1995 pink papered Westphalen mare. She is dark bay with lots of chrome. She is our most feminine mare. She looks and moves like a ballerina.

Lily is very sweet but enjoys putting on a good dramatic performance. She was bred to be an eventer or show jumper but her paces made her a real contender in the dressage ring.

Her career as a riding horse was unfortunately cut short due to injury.

Lily gave us 2 filly foals by Ancan Kodachrome: Expat’s Masquerade in 2008 and Expat’s Top Model in 2009. Both fillies show a lot of promise as sport horses and have wonderful Morgan temperament. They are beautiful girls with very attractive and distinctive white markings paired with a graceful yet athletic build.

LOVY LIGHT
(Diamond Prospect x Lightim)
2001 chestnut TB mare

Lovy is a chestnut Thoroughbred mare born in 2001. She has good character, is good sized and has the athleticism of the Thoroughbred. We are excited to see her first foal. The combination of the thoroughbred character and the versatility of the Morgan should produce of excellent CCE ponies.

Lovy had her first foal in 2013, the lovely Expat's Commodore's Spark. Lovy is in foal to Expat's Regimental Color for a 2014 foal.

VEGA DE MESILLE
(Sandreo (KWPN) x Winda (Han))
2009 bay mare

Vega is a 2009 bay dressage bred mare. She has the grace of a ballerina and just enough size to produce sports ponies when crossed with our Morgan stallions. Vega has all the athletic ability good warmblood breeding produces and we fully expect that her part Morgan foals will start in a new trend in the sports pony world.
